Kardhang monastery
The place has many Buddhist monasteries. One of the most prominent ones is the Kardhang monastery, which is a very quite and peaceful place for meditation. It is situated in Lahasul, just 8 km from Keylong village. It has a magnificent interior with a big library, that houses various ancient Buddhist weapons and texts from the 12th and 13th centuries.
Lake Suraj Tal & Baralacha Pass
Suraj Tal (the lake of the Sun of God) is a calm lake, situated at an altitude of approximately 4,900 m above sea level. It is situated near the Baralacha Pass Top.
