Terms for motorcycle tour package
1. Driver should have a valid driver license. Riders outside India needs an international driving license / permit. Rider must be at least 18 years old as per Indian govt. rules. Rider must have to wear helmet all the time while driving.
2. All rates exclude fuel.
3. A refundable deposit of $300 is required, along with a copy of the passport.
4. Motorbikes comes with the third party. Any damage done with in the period of rental of the Motorbike is to be borne by the you.
5. Rider is responsible for his insurance and we will not be responsible for any accidental expenses of the rider.
6. The Hirer Shall use the motorbike entirely at her/his own risk and agrees that we will not accept any responsibility or be held accountable for any loss, injury or death as a result of, or leading from the hire of any of the bikes by any person.
7. The rented Motorbike shall be dropped or returned in the same condition in which it was hired.
8. Motorbikes supposed to be returned or dropped on the same day before 7 p.m, if rented for one day.
9. If for any Reasons the roads are closed, you would still be charged for the duration.
10. To book the motorbike, 25% of the total amount is required. The rest of the amount is to be paid at the time when you pickup the motorbike.
11. If the motorbike is returned before the stipulated time, then the rent would be charged for the same numbers of the days as you booked it for.
12. If you need to cancel your booking 2 months before your departure date, full amount of the booking will be refunded. If cancellation is received less then a month before departure date, then there will be no refund. To cancel Your booking email us your request.

We are providing you following list of terms & conditions of our motorcycle tours with us. You are humbly requested to go through it before you book any of your tours with us.
Kindly note when making an online-booking with “Extreme Tours India” or Extreme Tours or ETI along with appropriate deposits. A contract will come into existence between you (the Client) and me (the Organizer) in conjunction with the Terms & Conditions laid out in this document. Your booking with us is governed by and construed in accordance with Indian law and is subject to the jurisdiction of the Indian Courts.
1. Your Responsibility
You participate with Extreme Tours India knowingly as a competent rider and do so entirely at your own risk. Understanding that motorcycle touring in India involves a certain amount of risk and we further ask please show respect and courtesy to your fellow riders.
2. Our Responsibility
At our discretion, any rider seen taking unnecessary risks en-route will have their journey terminated, thereafter traveling in one of the support-vehicles for remainder of the tour. No reimbursement given. Safety is our primary concern.
3. Booking
On receiving your booking (via online / email / phone or any mean), your deposit should reach us within 8 days and one month prior to departure date. On receipt of the deposit, an invoice will be sent enclosing full details. From your booking, it will be deemed you accept the Terms & Conditions set out in this document.
4. Costs
All our prices are fixed. Please see our Tour Package page with detail programs for expedition prices online. A special cost can be offered for a group of more than 5+ participants.
5. Deposit and Balance payment
25% – Deposit per person required when online booking with ETI as advance money to ensure that you’re joining one of our motorbike tours.
75% – Balance collected at, New Delhi. On your arrival in India by one of our representative. The deposit will ensure your place on the expeditions. The remaining 75% balance can be made either in Euros or dollars, sterling pounds as this makes paying for facilities easier en-route.
6. What Our Tour Includes:
All ground transfers in India, airport to airport.
Motorcycle 500cc latest model and fuel.
Permits for Restricted areas (India-Tibet boarder control, Ladakh, Spiti valley, north-east India).
Accommodation (twin sharing hotels/guesthouses, home stay or camping) neat & clean.
Breakfast in the hotel (lunch on the way) in the local restaurants.
English speaking tour guides.
medicines including oxygen cylinder.
mechanics with all necessary spare part items.
support vehicles (if riders are suffer from the altitude fatigue or having sore ass, they may jump into our back-up jeep to relax!!).
Monument entrance fees during the entire trip.
Mineral water will be provided during the expeditions.

or whatever not mentioned in included section.
8. Accommodation
On uur tours Accommodation ranges from luxury hotel, guesthouses to camping and home stay. All accommodation is on same sex twin-sharing (couples double-room). Sometimes there might a single occupancy in a double room.
9. Single Rooms are provided on Supplement costs.
10. Documents require for Ride
Riders must bring with them appropriate travel insurance and documents as follows:
Full Motorcycle License – valid
International Driving License / Permit – valid
You are required to bring your travel insurance policy with you on tour. Please print off a photo-copy and keep it safe. As well as the address of your travel insurance company. Riders are requested to handover the insurance numbers and addresses to our guide.
Without these documents you will not be able to take part in your chosen tour (safety is our primary concern).
11. Cancellation
If you need to cancel your booking, please do so in writing. If your cancellation is received more than four weeks before your departure date, 25% of your deposit will be refunded. If cancellation is received less than four weeks before the departure date, there will be no refund.
If you are delayed or think you might be late. Contact details will be available and everything possible will be done to make alternative arrangements in order to meet further down the road. Extra costs may be incurred.
No refunds given if a person/s leave a tour en-route.
Our tours are planned several months in advance to avoid adverse climate conditions. However, changes will be made (en-route) if unfavourable weather hampers our progress. However, while on tour should any unforeseeable situations arise beyond our control, e.g. landslides, snow pack, earthquake or glacier movement. As safety is important, we will make changes en-route and detour to continue with the adventure.
12. Tour Amendment
If we find there are insufficient numbers of riders in a particular tour group. We reserve the right to amend that route for the smaller group, without diluting any of the characteristics of the tour. But it will be informed in advance to the riders.
13. Food & beverages
We are very conscious about the catering, basically it’s very important to have hygienic cuisine during our motor bike tours, while doing home stay during the motorcycling we always eat organic food with local families, Water bottles are always providing by the backup jeep during the road trip. Consumption of high degree alcohol is prohibited during the riding time but evening is full of chit-chat and rum punch to knock out the fatigue of the day.
14. Motorcycle Damage Deposit
A safety deposit of 300 US$ is required prior to motorcycle assignment and this deposit can be paid in cash or via credit card authorization prior to tour start, if no damages are incurred during motorcycle holiday then no charges will appear on your credit card. Repairs of small accidental damage from bikes falling over & light spills are normally covered in with the tour cost, but ETI reserves the right to appraise all damages & repair costs and bill accordingly.
15. Etiquette & Protocol
Riding a motorcycle into India is a privilege. Although Ladakh, continue slowly open its doors to the outside world and experiment with new ideas for tourism, participants are reminded of the culturally sensitive nature of this trip and are urged & requested to conduct themselves in a respective manner & show extra courtesy & riding style while encountering traffic in India!
16. A Word of Caution
Motorcycling on the mountainous areas of the Indian continental (Himalaya & Karakorum), is surely one of the best ways to experience the regions rich cultures, friendly people, and beyond amazing scenery. At the same time, motorcycling does have its dangers – Especially on narrow mountain roads with unpredictable traffic & quick changing weather conditions. This tour operated “Motorcycle Expeditions”, should be undertaken by fit, experienced riders with an open mind to accepting the changing conditions and different rules of the road. We granite you an everlasting life time or life changing motorcycling with us in India (Himalayas & Karakoram).
Additional Documents – In addition to the required documents, it is always advisable to bring with you the following documents important documents you must bring with you on tour are:
17. Travel Insurance
You must have a suitable Travel Insurance Policy. It is your responsibility to obtain a suitable travel insurance policy covering your personal health, personal belongings and it must cover you whilst riding large capacity motorcycles as a means of transport.
18. Visa Terms & Conditions
India visas – To enter and travel in India you require only a ‘single entry Indian Tourist Visa’. These are valid for up to 6 months and are obtained from The Indian Consular Visa Service in London, Birmingham or Glasgow or Indian Consular Visa Services in your country.
Reference names, addresses and phone numbers required for your Indian Visa application are detailed in the rider pages. Your travel agent can obtain the visa for you usually within one working week. You must hold a full passport and it must have at least 6 months validity remaining.
With a multiple entry Indian tourist visa please be aware that once you leave India you must remain out of India for no less than 2 months, before you can re-enter. This rule is strictly applied.
19. Packing Essentials
Riding in the Himalaya always requires a range of clothing. The passes are sometimes very cold. Crossing Tanglang La (5300mtrs) for example there is sometimes snow. Your riding jacket though should be well ventilated. Evenings in the mountains can be cool. we advise you bring a warm pullover or body-warmer.
For Ladakh you can manage with lightweight clothes provided you bring thermal underwear. Evenings can be chilly when the sun goes down. After the summer season, warm clothes are required.
When visiting Temples or Gompas you must remove your shoes, slip-ons and zipped boots make this lot easier. Often newcomers to India will bring too much “stuff”! All over India the essentials are available, from toothpaste to batteries, from headache tablets to pants and socks. It’s part of the experience to buy simple requirements as you go along.
We always wear Helmets! It is the law to wear a helmet everywhere we ride. ‘Local quality’ helmets can be bought in larger cities though your own is always more comfortable.
We recommend you travel to India with rugged, ‘soft’ luggage, which can later be stowed in our hotel or in the support jeep. Bring casual clothes for evenings and the non-riding times.
20. General Terms
It is important you know that motorcycle touring in India is an activity involving risk. The security and full and safe control of your motorcycle, whilst riding, is your responsibility.
We expect that you will have at least 3 years motorcycle riding experience behind you, on large capacity motorcycles. To ride on our tours we expect you to ride with skill, care, and confidence, on and off-road. Sections of highway are ‘off-road’ rough and some riding days can be long and require good physical fitness and stamina.
Your contract is with Extreme Tours India.
Our responsibility is according to the laws of the United Kingdom and India and where possible we comply with ABTA standards.
21. Risk, Responsibility, Contract and Liability
It is important you know that motorcycle touring in India is an activity not without risk. The security and full and safe control of your motorcycle, whilst riding, is your responsibility.
We will not accept responsibility in the case of your death, injury or illness, except when due to the negligence of the staff of external services we employ. We do not accept responsibility in respect of death, bodily injury or illness by causes other than our Tour team and their actions.
Your contract is with Extreme Tours India. Our responsibility is according to the laws of the India where possible we comply with IJL standards. You the Rider and Pillion Passenger are responsible for necessary travel and medical insurance. You must ride wearing protective clothing and a helmet.
22. Motorcycling Experience
Some sections of highway are ‘off-road’ rough. We expect that you will have at least 3 years motorcycle riding experience behind you, on large capacity motorcycles.
To ride on our Tours we expect you to ride with skill, care, and confidence off-road. Some riding days can be long and require good physical fitness and stamina.
When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority and required motorcycling experience to do so and that you also accept these Terms and Conditions.
23. Documents Required
You must bring to India the following documents:
If you are unable to show any one of these three documents on arrival in India, you may jeopardize the success of your Tour.

We reserve the absolute right to remove you from the Tour without notice on your behavior, in our opinion:
25. Leaving a Tour Mid-Way
We cannot pay refunds if your tour is terminated early due to an accident, impaired fitness to continue or dismissal from a Tour. Leaving a Tour mid-way will incur the loss on your Motorcycle Security Deposit.
26. Law
The Contract between you and Extreme Tours India is based on the Terms and Conditions lay down in all our terms and conditions pages.
In order to comply with IATA directives, we do not purchase any international air tickets on behalf of our Riders on any of our Tours. Where necessary we will advise Riders of the exact flight ticket to purchase and in some cases through which Ticketing Agent to purchase the ticket. We advise all our Riders to purchase any or international flight tickets required to complete a Tour details.
We reserve the right to make changes due to natural uncertainty to Tour Itineraries without prior notice. Please ask any questions you may have regarding our Terms & conditions.

We are more than happy to welcome you on one of our motorcycle expeditions; our team ensure all your safety, comfort, your bikes, food, accommodations. An immemorial motorcycle tour with us is a grantee; we know how valuable your holidays are, especially while planning a motorcycle trip in foreign countries. It’s a year or two years advance planning. You are in safe hand, we have years of experience of terrains, we know each and every corners of the itineraries or the countries where you are riding with us.
